The Arad plant is the more specialized and productive factory of this market by sure, with more than 18 presses working during 3 shifts.

Perfect rotary shells
The production of great rotary shells starts from the selection of best beech logs from east-european forests: the entire productive process from the log treatment to the final packaging is managed inside the company production plant. Thanks to the strict quality control on all processing phases Penta Box is able to deliver the ideal product for today work habits of die makers all over the world.
Best quality, Best stability
All the processing phases are designed to obtain rotary shells with the best possible wood stability to respect tight dimension tolerances and avoid long fixing time before the laser cutting phase. The glue application phase on plywood layer is made with extreme attention to obtain correct stability of the shell and avoid imbalances also during the laser cutting phase.
The temperature and humidity parameters during the curving process are strictly controlled for each range of shell diameter. The shells are trimmed with the customer specification with electronic controlled cutting system to have a perfect cut with parallel axes. The quality control check every processing phase until the final marking of each shell before the packaging and shipping: each die board is marked with operator code, month and year of production stamp making all pieces easy traceable, besides to the Penta Box logo stamp.
Personalized colors and logo
Penta Box beech rotary shells can be provided as natural beech or paper covered – paper tested and approved for laser cutting. Penta Box standard color range includes white, gray and orange paper but there’s of course the possibility to produce the shells with registered RAL of the customer or with logo printed on.
Packaging and shipment
Penta Box perfectly knows how important is the shipping phase of an order and how much it affects on the order amount, so the packaging and the loading of every shipment are managed to avoid damages and using as better as possible the loading space to save money on transport. Shells can be packed in 5-pieces cylinders or on pallet. If the shells are palletized, it’s possible to prepare them in a special packaging system studied to grant the highest possible stability of each die board during transportation and stocking after delivery.
